Frequently Asked Questions about the Fort St John Soccer Club



Q. When are the seasons?
A. Indoor runs from mid/late October to the end of February, Outdoor runs from the end of April to the end of June.

Q. What ages can play?
A. We have divisions from U6 to Adult.  Players from 4 to 95 can find a team to play on.  For Indoor 2010-11, children born in 2006 or earlier are eligible to play.  For Outdoor 2010-11, children born in 2006 will be eligible to play.

Q. How can I register?
A. a) One Stop for Indoor season - early September
        One Stop for Outdoor season - late March/early April
   b) On-line, and pay by credit card or mail in a cheque, or put in the drop box
   c) Printing a form from the website and mail in a cheque, or put in the drop box
   d) Watch for other advertised dates and times.

Q. What facilities do we use?
A. School gyms and School fields

Q. How many nights per week do we play?
A. Generally two nights per week with a combination of games and practices.

Q. Is there any kind of competitive program?
A. We have U8, U10 & U12 development teams and competitive teams for U14, U16 and U18, as well as Men's, Ladies and O35 Ladies.

Q. Are teams mixed or gender specific?
A. U6 and U16/U18 are mixed but we are moving away from mixed teams from U8 to U14 as long as the registration numbers support the change.

Q. Is financial assistance available to me?

A. Yes, through Kidsport and Jumpstart.  Click on their icons near the bottom of our Home Page for further information.
